Sharon Soule': I am a math teacher with over 20 years experience teaching in California. Over the years, I've become more and more disgusted with the way education has moved. I feel like we are doing a great disservice to our children with the high emphasis our educational establishment places on standardized testing results. With the adoption of the Common Core State Standards, the pendulum has begun to swing back towards better mathematics teaching practices. This blog will be for me and my students as we go through our mathematical journey together.
